** Μιά  ημερήσια  απόδραση του Ιουλίου  22  / 7 / 2011 στα Αρκαδικά βουνά (Μαίναλο) και ορινά  χωριά της Αρκαδίας , μέσα στην Εληνική ορινή φύση  !

~ Ο Πρώτος  που αντίκρισε  το πανέμορφο σπήλαιο λίγο έξω από το Χωριό Κάψια , ήταν  ο Γάλλος Αρχαιολόγος Γουστάβος Φουζέρ  το 1887  , ενώ πραγματοποιούσε ανασκαφές στην αρχαία Μαντινεία  Αρκαδίας .-
~ Η Πρώτη  έρευνα  του σπηλαίου έγινε  20 Αυγούστου  1892  από Ελληνο-Γαλλική  αποσταλή  με υπεύθυνο τον νομομηχανικό Αρκαδίας Νικόλαο Σιδερίδη μαζί με δύο Γαλλους  μηχανικούς .-
~ Βρίσκεται 5 χιλιόμετρα έξω και δεξιά από το χωριά Κάψια στη διαδρομή μας από Τρίπολη προς Λεβίδι , Β.Α . με θέα το Μαίναλο (στους πρόποδές του ) και την Νεστάνη .-

~ Η  δημοσίευση του Ν. Σιδέρη  της μελέτης του για το Σπήλαιο και τις Καταβόθρες  της περιοχής Καψια στο  γαλλικό επιστημονικό περιοδικό Spelunga   το 1911 φέρνει το σήλαιο στην παγκόσμια  δημοσιότητα .-
~ Η  δημοσίευση αυτή είναι το σπουδαιότερο ελληνικό σπηλαιολογικό άρθρο της εποχής και αποτελεί την αρχή για το ξύπνημα του ενδιαφέροντος της μελέτης των Ελληνικών σπηλαίων .-

~ Το  1974 προγματοποιήθηκε νέα Ελληνογαλλική  αποστολή με υπεύθυνο τον Ι. Ιωάννου  και ανακαλύφθηκε και νέο τμήμα του σπηλαίου που ήταν άγνωστο στους πρώτους ερευνητές .-
~ Στο σπήλαιο βρέθηκαν ίχνη παλιάς πλημμύρας και πλήθος από θραύσματα  ανθρωπίνων  οστών και κρανίων , σκεπασμένα από λάσπη  (πάχους μισού μέτρου ) που  καλύπτει το δάπεδο του σπηλαίου .-
~ Επίσης  βρέθηκαν  λυχνάρια  που πιθανόν  να ανήκουν  στους ύστερους  ελληνικούς χρόνους (4ος και 5ος μ.χ. αιώνας ) .- Στοιχεία όλα αυά , ότι από πλημμύρα του σπηλαίου αποκλίστηκαν εντός και πνύγικάν άνθρωποι που έμεναν εντός του σπηλαίου εκείνα τα χρόνια .-

~ Το  Υπαίθριο Νουσείο Υδροκίνησης της Δημιτσάνας Ν. Αρκαδίας , (ΥΜΥ), δημιουργήθηκε από το Πολιτιστικό Όμιλο  Πειραιώς (όπως και το Μουσείο Ελαίας και Λαδιού Σπάρτης ) , και ανήκει στο δίκτυο θεματικών τεχνολογικών μουσείων του Ιδρύματος .-
~ Η  υλοποίησή του  συγχρηματοδοτήθηκε από το Β΄και Γ΄ Κοινοτικό πλαίσιο Στήριξης  , μρ την υποστήριξη  της Περιφέρειας Πελοπονήσου  , και η λειτουργία του ξεκίνησε το κοαλοκαίρι του 1997 .-

~  Το  ΥΜΥ , προβάλλει τη σημασία της υδροκίνησης στην παραδοσιακή κοινωνία , παρουσιάζοντας τις βασικές προβιομηχανικές τεχνικές που χρησιμοποιούν το νερό ως κύρια πηγή ενέργειας για την παραγωγή ποικίλων προϊόνυων .-
~ Σε έκταση ενός στρέμματος  , μέσα σε πυκνή βλάστηση και άφθονα τρεχούμενα νερά , έχουν αποκατασταθεί  εγκαταστάσεις και υδροκίνητοι μνχανισμοί , με σκοπό τη μουσειακή αξιοποίησή τους .-
~ Καθε αναστηλωμένο κτήριο των παλιών παραδοσιακών εργαστηρίων φιλοξενεί μόνιμη  έκθεση με θεματικό περιεχόμενο , σχετικό με το εργαστήριο στο οποίο στεγάζεται .-

~ Στο  πρώτο  κτήριο  στεγάζεται η νεροτριβή και ο Νερόμυλος με οριζόντια φτερωτή , και δίπλα το Ρακοκάζανο ( για παραγωγή  τσίπουρου από τα στέμφυλα ) .-
* Η Νεροτριβή για τον καθαρισμί χαλιών , κουβερτών , βελεντζών κ.λ.π. -
* Ο Νερόμυλός με την οριζόντια φτερωτή , για το άλεσμα από τις μυλόπετρες των καρπών - σπόπρων σιταριού , αραβόσιτου κ.α για την αλευρωποίησή τους .-

~ Το δεύτερο δυόροφο κτήριο είναι  το βυρσοδεψείο , χωρισμένο σε ζώνες , που αντιστοιχούν σε διάφορα στάδια επεξεργασίας των δερμάτων ......

~ Το επόμενο  κτήριο στεγάζει τον μπαρουτόμυλο ...εδώ γίνεται η  παρασκευή της μπαρούτης από Νίτρο , ασφάκα , κλιματόβεργες κ.λ.π. ...

~  Στη συνέχεια το μικρό μονοπάτι συνεχίζει τη διαδρομή του επισκέπτη στο φαράγγι του Λούσιου  ποταμιού , όπου ακολουθόντας το μονοπάτι που ξεκινάει από το μουσείο  , κατεβαίνει στο Παλιοχώρι , φτάνει στην παραδοσιακή γέφυρα της Μονόπορης  , και οδηγεί στη Μονή Φιλοσόφου  και τη Μονή Ι. Προδρόμου , για να καταλήξει στην αρχαία Γορτινα .-

** THE GREAT ACCELERATION AND THE GREAT FALLACY OF GREEN JOBS‏

~ Eurocommissar Janez Potocnik points out that during the 20th Century the world population grew by four times, its economic output by 40 times. We increased our fossil fuel use be 16 times, our fishing catches by 35 times and our water use by 9 times. But with a population of 7 or 9 billion it is not fine. 140,000 more people every day are sharing a planet which will stay the same size. As we don't have another planet, we have no choice but to use more efficiently the resources on this one.
 ~ So Potocnik's first message is that resource efficiency is not a choice, it is inevitable. Our choice is whether to develop it now, or whether we wait until we are forced to when critical resources are exhausted and expensive. To go back to our metaphor, if we want to continue to accelerate we need to change the road, or we are going to start driving straight into some walls.
 ~ Europe is poor in mineral resources. We get 48% of our copper ore from abroad, 64% of zinc and bauxite and 78% of nickel. We import all of our cobalt, platinum, titanium and vanadium. As a highly import dependent continent you would expect that we manage our resources efficiently.  ~ At the same time labour costs went on rising. To remain competitive we had to use all our ingenuity to match these increased costs with massive increases in labour productivity – increasing it about 20 times in the same 150 years. This mutually enforcing increase of costs and productivity fuelled the engine of our technological progress.
 ~ Potocnik points out the megatrend today is the end of perpetually cheaper resources. Today, with material costs making up more than 40% of total costs in manufacturing industries, compared to less than 20% for labour, it is clear that we need to apply the same ingenuity and innovation to improving our resource productivity now as we did to improving our labour productivity in the past.

 ~ Our challenge is that after a few centuries of resource-intensive growth we are locked-in to resource inefficient infrastructures, resource inefficient economic and financial systems, resource inefficient business models and resource inefficient behaviour. Potocnik asserts that if we are to remain competitive in this new paradigm we have a major structural transformation to achieve.
 ~ Potocnik asserts there will be no growth if it is not green growth. That is why environmentalists and industry must move away from their old polemics and work in partnership. Environment policy cannot just be about punishing polluters, we must build it into the very way we produce and consume.
 ~ If we are able to do this we will start to see environment policy not as a constraint on competitiveness, but rather as essential to ensuring our future competitiveness. Or to look at it another way, we are not protecting the environment from business so much as using business to protect the environment.
 ~ Vaclav Klaus points out people tend to confuse environment protection with climate control. We have to take care of our rivers, lakes, seas, forests, and air. But humans cannot control the climate. Rabblerousers have been for a long time searching for a simple and sufficiently threatening catastrophe that could justify the implementation of kleptocratic ambitions.  ~ Green jobs have to do with a classic economic fallacy, identified as early as 1850 by French economist Frederic Bastiat. Is it a good or a bad thing, Bastiat asked, if someone breaks a shopkeeper's window? Superficially, it's a good thing: more work to keep the glaziers busy and paid. But that work comes at the expense of other goods and services the shopkeeper would have bought if he didn't have to pay for the window. And, while those other goods and services actually would have improved the lot of the shopkeeper and his customers, breaking and replacing the window enhances nothing.

Eurocommissars have consistently fallen into the broken windows trap, arguing that climate change rules would create millions of green jobs by increasing demand for new technologies.
